Hunters and Jumpers
Many breeds of horses used in hunter jumper classes are very front end weighted. The nature of the sport also creates tension in the feet, neck and poll.
As horses jump the tension is also absorbed in the stifles after the intial impact to the front end.
The longevity in the sport depends on keeping your horse fit and sound and this is where preventative work comes in. Keeping your equine partner healthy with nutrition, proper weight, exercises to keep them fit and bodywork. Bodywork prevents muscle strain but relaxing patterns of tension .
